I've never yet posted anything like this, but I thought I'd offer my opinion on this whole Flappy Bird phenomenon.
It's speculated that the creator has been earning $50,000 a day in advertising, but now wants to take the game down because the fame has ruined his life.
I, for one, believe him. I don't think the money bothers him - who would be bothered by having money, really?! But maybe he genuinely doesn't want to be famous - not everyone is wired to be able to deal with that.
If the money speculation is correct, since New Year this guy's earned a cool $2million. With wise investment, that's easily enough to set him up for the rest of his life!
Now, if he doesn't want the fame, he's already earned the money, so he can turn his own creation into a "flash in the pan" by deleting it, and ride off into the sunset.
Based on his apparent personality type, I don't blame him one bit!
(Incidentally, I believe I could cope with fame, so feel free to share my blog, Facebook page, Twitter, and YouTube channel with all your friends!)
